what you did with the shoulders is also possible with the single spike attachments

if you noticed
at the shoulder armor you have a little shadow for each spike
so there is no problem where you have to attach them

same system
pinch a hole into the armor
put the wire trough it and fix it at the other side

again don't fix them too tight
they should swing nicely or rather fall down
