when i cut the pieces in the Designer, i always try that i can reach every tab without problems

because of the large arms, this time there are two sides which need some attention

pic1
i build the torso until i reach this point

pic2
piece 30 is actually the last ring of the lower torso
you can add it without this insturction
i just had no space in the sheets for it ;)

after piece 30 add piece 31 only at the yellow marked sides

pic3
now add the upper torso also only at the yellow marked sides
start from the inside

pic4
because you didn't connect the right side from pic 2 you are now able to reach the other sides without any problem

pic5+6
now close the whole ring and add the pieces 32 and 33

done :)

This model is awesome ! May I ask you what is the black box we can see at the left on the last shot ? And what is the thin needle in it ?

sure :)
it's a pod where i put some small amounts of glue into and with the needle a put it on the tabs :)
the glue don't fit into the pod so when it's dry i can remove it in one stroke
the needle is selfmade (or rather found) out of a steelwire from a cleaning machine
sometimes this machines loose them
i polishes and modified it a bit so i can add a thin layer of glue on the tabs
at the other side it has a very sharp end for tiny tabs :)
works much more better as toothpicks ;P
and thx a lot

Thanks. May I ask you another question :). Apparently you use pencil to draw the border of the pieces. What sort of pencil do you use ? You have multiples pencils with different colors ? Do you draw on the piece before glue it or after ?

yes, i have some stabilo markers which i use
and i paint the edges mostly after gluing
ah it's a bit hard to explain
when i glue two sides together i peel the rest what squeezed out away with the tweezer
then i color the edge with one stroke
before that i test it out if the color fit
then i can see where some glue is left
then peel again and color again if there is some use for
for textured models it took a while to get the right combination :)
and no problem :)
