and it goes on man, this step took me really long this time but it was worth, the result looks just sweet
as always you can see the pieces of the chest-hip combo
the chest itself the front attachments the shoulders and the pipes of the hip (i didn't add this pieces the last time, because there were already enough )
this time i made no piece overview of the pieces because the chest itself is based on just six pieces the interesting part here is how to combine the shoulders to the torso
on page L and you can see it in the 3d view there are two cylinders in the chest as an inner structure i had no clue how i should build that so i made it my own way
first i changed the tabs and glued the cylinder inside of the outer chest parts then i made a tube what fits into this cylinder and combined them with the shoulder parts
sadly i can't tell you how big this tube should be, it's something what you have to test out also you have to look out that you get the right lenght, angle and stuff
the next photo shows an idea from a facebook friend he suggested i should try to build a moving system for the chest-hip it took me bit to figure out the right height and diameter of the tubes but it works very well ... even there is no space for movements i will explain later
but it's a good way if you wanna build an other SD Gundam to get a bit life into this static models
by the way, the bigger tube has to be on the bottom (left piece)
the next photos the "golden" front attachments and the side pipes
the original pipes were just ugly to build you can see it that the open sides sometime on top and some other are underneath
i used two paper stripes to combine them together but i prefere if you are at this point, to draw youself some tabs also i will edit the sheets a bit that you just have to add edge on edge
next problem in the 3d model the pipes are going through the "containers" but i can do this too i made some holes into them and just put them inside
p.s. you should do this before you add the containers to the hip
last picture the final torso
p.s.s. here you can see what i mean that it's actually not possible to move the chest but that is no problem the important thing is that i "could" do it if i want
Can't wait to see the finished product, bro
