today something really cool happend
as you may know, ore not,
Exteel, the Sci-Fi Mecha Shooter from NCsoft
shut down on September 1 this year
after a while
the official Webpage was also shut down, which was holding the Sheets for the Sidewinder Mecha Model
now i had a little problem
because i told the people "just follow the link in the description"
as i noticed on my own that the page was down
i contact NCsoft if i could upload the sheets here on dA as a resource for all the Papercraft, Sci-Fi and Mecha fans
and you know what
i got the permission
here the mail passages
"Hi
I hope you get this mail and understand it in the right way I never played the game
but I build that papermodel what you released on your webpage
made a lot pictures of it and upload them to deviantart.com
With the shut down of the exteel sever you also take down the page and the model
Now the people ask me about the model and where they can get it.
That’s why I write this mail
On deviantart there are a huge count of people who love mechas, papercrafts
and so I wanna ask you if I could get the permission to upload the blueprints to that gallery as a resource?
So that other crafter can build it too"
Answer:
"You can upload the blueprints as long as they still have the NCsoft trademark and copyright on them, and as long as no one is making any money off of them (I know that in general people don't make money from deviantart I just have to advise you that you cannot at some point decide to charge people for access to the blueprints). Thanks for asking!"
